If I were stranded on a deserted island and I’m only allowed to bring one single makeup item with me, it would be liquid liner. Cat eye is my staple makeup. Ever since I discovered the power of eyeliner to opened up my droopy and tired eyes, I’ve never left my house without wearing one. That is probably why I got so excited if anyone asked me what is the best eyeliner that can hold up in a long long day because I’ve always proud of my long-lasting-almost-never-fade-out-cat-eye. ((((LOL)))) 😆
If you a long time reader, you’d probably now that my holy grail eyeliner is the Dolly Wink one. But I honestly never stopped searching for another perfect eyeliner, preferably more cheaper and easier to find in my country
because Dolly Wink sold twice the price in Japan here in Indonesia. That is probably why whenever I have the opportunity to come back to Japan, I’ve always stocked up eyeliners from the land of waterproof eyeliner.
K-Palette 24H Real Lasting Eyeliner is one of the eyeliner brand that I’ve always wanted to try. But back then in 2014, even though this particular eyeliner had their ads all over Tokyo, I’ve made up my mind to only stocked up on the Dolly Wink one since everyone raved about it. I’ve only tried their 1 Day Tattoo Lasting 2Way Eyebrow Liquid back then. So, when I went back to Tokyo few months ago, I decided to bought a couple
(or more) liners from K-Palette. And this time I will review the uber cute Alice in Wonderland limited edition eyeliner!
This top-rated bestselling eyeliner in Japan is considered the holy grail of eyeliners with its waterproof formula. Quick-drying but fitted with a patented microfiber fine brush tip for highly controlled yet precise application. Long-lasting and non-smudged lines can withstand sweat, water and skin sebum to keep your eye makeup flawless and perfect from day to night.
This eyeliner have a sponge-like brush, different with Dolly Wink’s that has a real brush applicator. I usually dislike this kind of applicator because they are usually so stiff and hurt my eyes. But, this eyeliner surprisingly flexible, comfortable, and easy to use!
The formula is nice, dry very quickly, even though I prefer if it would be more opaque (probably because it is in Brown Black shade). However when I try to use it without setting it up with powder, it was mostly fade out in outer corner of my eyes. Well, my eyes is so oily to begin with anyway, so I decided to set it up with powder afterwards, and it stays put pretty well through out the day! 😀
This Alice in Wonderland edition come with beautiful hologram Alice in Wonderland silhouette and free hologram tattoo. I believe that it comes with various tube colors (which I found out after I bought this one 😥 ), but I don’t know if it’s still available to this date or not.
Am I going to repurchase it? Hmmm, I don’t know about the black shade, but probably I’m not going to repurchase this shade, because I personally think that it was just so-so. But, it’s a so-so in a Japanese eyeliner standard. Because, honestly, if I’m going to compare this one to western brand expensive eyeliner, of course I’m going to recommend this one to anyone! 🙂
